The Women's Auxiliary is proud to support the many programs and services The Salvation Army offers. We work to enhance The Salvation Army programs through fundraising, donations, advocacy and hands on volunteer efforts; and in turn - help those in crisis - to heal, to develop emotionally and spiritually, and to learn new skills which promote self-sufficiency and help transform lives for the better.
Adult Rehabilitation Center
Treatment, housing and support for those struggling with chemical addiction.
CARS (Coordinated Assistance to Residential Stability)
Provides first time homeless with lodging and services to become gainfully employed employed and self-sufficient.
Christmas Program Assistance
Toys, food and grocery vouchers for needy families.
Door of Hope
Transitional housing for homeless women and children.
Family Services
Facilities that meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of local area residents and families.
Homeless Outreach
Support and materials for exisiting Salvation Army outreach efforts on city streets, parks and benches.
Pine Summit Camp & Conference Center
A summer camp getaway for children and seniors.
Senior Nutrition Sites
Hot lunches and companionship for isolated services.
STEPS (Shelter Transition Employment Program Services)
42-bed program for men that provides employment assistance and life skills to homeless or recently released from prison.
